2005 Builder of the Year, Michigan

In 2005, Bill Dykhuis was named Builder of the Year for his involvement in Home Builders Association activities at the local and state levels. He has been active in the association since 1989, serving as president in 1994. He was recognized for his service as treasurer of the Michigan Association of Home Builders and for co-chairing the Fast-Built House Committee for the 15th consecutive year. Builder of the Year award winners are selected based on their involvement in the association (60%), the home building industry (20%), and the community (20%).

Parade of Homes Awards

Every June the best and most popular residential home designs are showcased in this June event, a Kalamazoo tradition. A tradition in its own right, Bill Dykhuis has been asked to include one of his homes for this prestigious tour nearly every year since 1991. Bill’s work has earned fifteen awards, including:
